The GED, You and Me
This video of a Star Schools broadcast presents current and valuable information on the revised, nationally standardized GED test. Adult education instructors, administrators and others will benefit from the discussion with Joan Auchter, Executive Director of the GED Testing Service and Roz Petrilli, ISBE member of the GED 2002 committee. GED2002: Everything You Need to Know
Join a discussion led by GED Testing Service Executive Director Joan Auchter in this PBS LiteracyLink¨ teleconference. The PBS panel of experts will provide an overview of the changes, including the calculator component, revised content, new test item types, and open-ended answer formats. Additionally, they will offer advice for administrators on retraining teachers and to teachers on preparing learners for the new tests. The program also includes interviews with GED Testing Service content area experts on the reasons for some of the changes. Special thanks to LiteracyLink¨ for allowing us to make this video part of the CIAESC Resource Library.
